Do I remember reading that if you get health insurance once in the visa process that you are stuck with it and can’t get rid of it?
I am here on 60 day bisa exempt. I want to get a non-O immigrant visa and end up with a retirement visa. First I need to get a bank account and one bank is saying they will give it to me if I buy a ฿5000 health insurance policy. If I get that policy, is it going to cause a problem for me down the road? (I do NOT want Non-OA)
Hello everyone, I would like to ask what health insurance that is best to get for Non O Retirement visa. I am inquiring on behalf of my mother and she is already 79 y/o. Thank you in advance.
I don’t know if this question has been asked before. Can I arrange an AO visa in the UK and have insurance by a UK company, or do I have to pay Thai Insurance prices? Which seem at best very expensive
Anyone here on the DTV visa have any experience with Safety Wing health insurance or recommend something around the same price for medical coverage? Looking at options/prices as planning on staying in Thailand for the next 1-2 years. My wife and I are both 30 from Australia.
Just need some clarification regarding health insurance for an OX retirement visa……do I have to let immigration know when the Thai insurance has been renewed? There has been no repercussions when I have travelled OS from Samui but friends of mine were fined recently? Has there been a change in this?
I'm seeking recommendations for health insurance and insurance for Accidents option in Bangkok, Thailand for Foreigner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Would like some advice on health insurance please. Looking for a family plan me, wife and possibly 2 adult children. In Thailand 6 months and uk 6 months. Advice and experience from those who are in the know please. No agents please. What are the average prices? TIA
So I’ve booked a one way ticket to Phuket late April. I’m well travelled and have been to SE Asia many times.
Planning on a retirement one year visa initially and may buy/start a business there.
So the process order is.
- find accommodation and get TM30
- arrange bank account and deposit 800,000bth
- apply for retirement visa
- this deposit has to be in for 2 months before I can apply.. yes?
- organise health insurance for $100,000us
Therefore as I have 60 days (I’m a kiwi coming for retirement visa, not elite) I have to a boarder run to get another 60 days until my deposit is recognised.
Any recommandation on a nice health insurance in SEA for a 25 yo man? I will be thailand 6 months per year and other months i would split between indonesia/vietnam/philippines… not sure yet.
