Hello! Does anyone know if flying into Cebu and getting an entry stamp there is valid for DTV application at the Manila Thai Embassy? Or do we HAVE to fly into the Manila airport and get a stamp there? Or is it all the same stamp?
Any recommandation on a nice health insurance in SEA for a 25 yo man? I will be thailand 6 months per year and other months i would split between indonesia/vietnam/philippines… not sure yet.
I have been told that being able to book / walk into the embassy to apply for an in person appointment for the DTV is now no longer an option in most countries moving to a E-Visa system, which can have a 4 to 6 week turnaround, rather than the previous few day turn around.
Apparently, the Philippines and Taiwan are the only two countries that still have not made this change to the E-Visa system.
Has anyone had any experience applying for their DTV in the Philippines?
Also, does anyone know when the cutoff date will be for the Philippines to change to the e-visa system?
Hello good day! I am a Filipina planning to stay probably 6 months in Thailand since Filipino is free visa going to Thailand for 60 days only. Anyone knows what's the process or what to do so I can stay 6 months in Thailand. Thankyou❤️
I'm from Philippines and am planning to be in Thailand as a domestic helper because I had hired my employer start 20th January 2025 and i would like to ask, if it's possible to do work as legal process?
Please come with other ideas, that could give us a better journey for my first visiting in Thailand. Anyone that can assist me can DM for more informations about Thailand.
I’m about to have to do a bounce, and I was planning on visiting another country close by, but after doing some in-depth research, it’s not exactly what I though it was, so I’m opening up my options. I have it narrowed down to Da Nang, Singapore and Manila/Cebu. Is there a consensus among the group of the best destination? Sorry if it’s off-topic, but I need to figure this out ASAP. Not too worried about the budget, within reason, and I can stay as long as I want. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Edit. Basically going because my visa is up. I enjoy Thailand, and thought the Phils were comparable, but the comments online make me now think different. The usual activities... sightseeing, tours, nightlife, etc. I'm not hard to please. Just something interesting to do to bide time before returning here.
