I’m looking for clarification regarding the level of health cover I need on a retirement visa. I have read online that a minimum of 3 million baht cover for inpatient cover is required but I can’t see anything in regards to outpatient cover or whether it is even required. Please could somebody who knows 100% confirm as I want to get my insurance in place. Many thanks in advance.

Would anyone be able to advise on international health insurance? I’m 50 and in the UK, trying to get health insurance and am getting quotes of around £200/month. It feels very expensive, is it cheaper to get health insurance from providers once in Thailand? Or is this just what I need to expect at my age :(
