Is it planned to be more easy to apply for the DTV e.g. without leaving Thailand? Why is it not even possible now? And yeah I know it's a new visa and not fully developed yet, but damn... I can't be the only one who finds that super exhausting. You can even apply for the funny ED Visa within Thailand.
It's clear that Taipei's dtv visa review is getting stricter. They're starting to ask for 6 months of transaction details and also take a closer look at each transaction details. If they have any doubts about the transaction details, ask if you can open the bank app and show them your transaction details. taipei still definitely the fastest place to issue, but I think there will be more cases of rejection in the future. i don know why but saw 2people were rejected at the application counter in the morning.
A lot of people are worried about if you need to apply in your home country if it’s E-Visa. Don’t worry you can apply anywhere. I have been applying for tourist visa to Thailand since 2023 in China. But i am from Africa but i live in China. You just need proof of residency. Your visa doesn’t matter whether it’s long term visa or tourist. Last time i applied for my friend who can to China on tourist visa and he got accepted. His visa was only left with 8 days at that time. Some hotels can actually help you register to the police if you want

Help us out please........
My pickup for my covid extension (14 days after you apply) is tomorrow but I'm in the hospital... Can I get a medical certificate and go Monday? Been here since Tuesday and not likely to leave tomorrow...
Also has anyone been rejected for their extension? I'm stressed for some reason!
Does anybody here have any *RECENT* experience with getting a 3rd consecutive ED visa? I've studied at a language school for 2 years already, and most likely can't get a 3rd visa from them to keep learning Thai. I was thinking to study at the Hand to Hand Combat school in Chiang Mai, but I am a bit worried with news about people being rejected when applying for visas.
Also, has anyone recently done a border run to Mae Sai for a 30-day stamp? Is it still possible to do?
