I applied for a DTV workation through my own company in Delhi, India, 3 weeks ago. Today, I received an email from the embassy saying that my visa has been approved. However, the details show a single-entry visa valid from February to May, without specifying the reason. Has anyone else faced this issue, and what did you do about it?
UPDATE: Today, 18 Feb 5.12PM My visa got approved!! Goodluck everyone! As promised I’ll make a detailed video on all the docs I submitted which would help self employed freelancers like me!

Is this normal for it to take so long? Losing hope… been seeing people get moved to pending approval within like 3 working days…

Thanks for everyone 🤘 & I have one question for you about the flight booking, do I need to show the round-way air tickets at the airport immigration?
Hi there, I don’t quite understand how to do the house contract for DTV. How can I book accommodation for 6 months if I don't first know that my visa will be approved?
* 1 of us just deposited the funds to personal saving account few days before we submit the application and do not have the bank statement to show the funds, we submitted funds deposit receipt from bank + screenshot of the current balance from the account with a short note explaining this and they accepted it without further questions

Really thankful for all the advices in this group!! Also I saw some posts talking about the Seminar we enrolled to , we probably are the 1st one to apply the visa with this Seminar in Manila, no issues besides some more documents needed from the seminar, the people from the Seminar are very helpful and responsive👍🏾
That was quite fast. Thanks to all contributors in this group. I didn’t post any questions, just prepared documents based on suggestions and comments here in this group.

Not me but a friend, didn’t wait for their visa (HCMC) and reentered TH on 60-day visa exempt on 7/12, received the visa on 11/12. Today they did a border run at Ranong/Kawthoung and it went without any issues.
Anyone that applied from Cambodia can share their experience with getting their DTV approved ? I applied the 20th of January and the status is still Pending for approval

Interesting part : I submitted on Friday morning 9am 24th Jan. Monday was showing Pending approval. Tuesday 28th Jan was Approved at 5pm. And Monday was a Public holiday.
So actually it took ONLY 2 working days for me (Friday and Tuesday)
Seeing conflicting information while waiting for DTV to be approved.
On one hand, you are supposed to be in the country the entire time where you submit the application until the DTV is approved. On the other hand, I read that someone submitted the application in US and then travel to Thailand before approval using the standard 60 days tourist visa and then his/her DTV was approved while in Thailand.
Can I submit the application in US, travel to Thailand and wait for approval there?
