Quick question for any UK expat who are receiving state pension in Thailand, is it correct if you ask the UK state pension department to send your pension direct to a Thai bank account, you will lose any uplifts to the UK state pensions in the future.

I have family arriving from UK, they will travelling direct from Bangkok airport to Hua Hin and will be staying in my home for 2 weeks before returning to Bangkok hotel and return flight.
When applying for multi-entry visa via thaievisa.go.th I see a message: ""If you are applying for Multiple Entries, you need to prove that you have a genuine reason to visit Thailand on a regular basis."
^Is simply traveling in and out of the country for leisure is not genuine enough reason to get METV? If not, can someone please give an example what could be those reasons, and what proof they may require? I've applied for METV before (before Thai E-Visa) and no one asked me for any reasons or proof. So I wonder if this is just a disclaimer, or someone is actually asking for it?
