Anonymous participant Not true, I never heard 7 years ago when I came to Thailand about this word, not in Spanish nor in English. Maybe the word was "invented" 3 decades ago, but it became popular after COVID.

Anonymous participant 212 Yeah I know, I lived here for 8 years before the digital nomad word was invented, and I also pay my taxes in Thailand and have a tax number ID, nothing new to me.

Yeah it seems to not make sense, it would be better to spend the money here in Thailand better than in an absurd border bounce, but we also have western immigration rules in our countries, every country is legitimate to do what they want.

Why do agents charge more than 50,000 baht for DTV applications when the official visa cost is much lower?

I know people who paid more than 100.000 THB, with flights included etc etc.... Try to avoid this kind of "agencies"

It won't be forever, no-one believes that a "course" like this for 10.000 thb is a *real" course for 5 years, ridiculous.
