Has anyone tried downloading the PDF files for the Wise transfers as proof for immigration. They show that the money is coming from your home country account to your account in Thailand?

Yes this was the routine for my 13 yrs in and out to vientianne and Savanakhek up until Covid, and now, with a retirement visa I dont need to go. I do miss those little excursions though.

In the UK it is known as a 'faster payment'; FP; which is instant and free.

Open a Thai bank account for your Wise transfers, and use the bank's ATM card to withdraw funds for free in province or 15thb charge out of province. If you have the K plus app. with Kasikorn bank ATM withdrawals everywhere are free. You can also make purchases and pay bills from your Thai bank account with it, even when abroad.

For years Ive ridden a mbike in my girlfriend's name. No issues when I take it for annual Tax and MOT (manic lol!) or the once or twice Ive been stopped by police who only asked for my licence.

FFS give this man a break, The London embassy website is a mess and not easy to navigate with poor English and conflicting info., especially if you are a newbie. The evisa website is also far from straightforward often demanding non-applicable documents be uploaded before progressing an application. (This requires uploading blank sheets of paper with N/A written on them). I advise anyone applying for a visa to politely email the embassy: asking for the latest info. on their particular visa requirements. They are very helpful and usually reply within a few days with clear concise info. that you can follow and print/download. You then have a record of the info. provided should anything go wrong.

they do not go back and check in your passport for previous overstays. It is standard practice to allow one fine free overstay day. They even make light of it sometimes.
