I entered Thailand as a tourist and received a 60 day entry stamp, I’ve used my 30 day extension, my 30 days are up soon. I’ve heard of a border run too extend my stay in Thailand. I have no idea how to go about it, Any advice on where would be the best bet to do so etc? I’m currently in Pattaya.
I’m currently applying for a tourist visa online. I’m actually in Cambodia but I will enter Thailand via Laos, is it a problem?
For the supporting documents I uploaded my entry stamp in Cambodia as proof of current location but for « travel booking confirmation » I will put my bus ticket from Laos to Thailand.
If I leave Hanoi before my DTV gets approved, can I enter Thailand on a tourist visa and then a few months later enter on the DTV? I know it's not recommended to leave, but my evisa in Vietnam will run out and my situation has become a bit complicated here. I am hoping it gets approved before I leave February 6. Will it automatically get cancelled if I leave Vietnam before it's approved? Has anyone left before it got approved and it was fine? Thanks.
I am planning to apply for a tourist visa from Vietnam. As I know, I just need to apply for Evisa only starting from Jan 1 2025.
When I checked the website, I found the required documents to apply for the TR visa below. Earlier, I thought I needed to show proof of financial assets (bank statements) as well.
Do we still need to show bank statements and other documents in the new system (apart from those in the picture)?
Does anyone know the processing time via the new system for tourist visas as I need to prepare the accommodation?
I'm here on a 60 day tourist visa exemption (from October 15 2024) and just got a 30 day extension last week (1900 baht) at Buriram immigration. I'm staying until at least mid March so I've been told I can get another 60 day visa on January 11. Does this sound right or do I have to pop into Cambodia?
Afternoon all, with the new E-visa recently introduced to most countries surrounding Thailand, how many days does it typically take for a 60 day Tourist Visa to be processed?
I have to exit Thailand and come back on an actual tourist visa (not visa exemption) so I can re-apply for the ED visa at Chaeng Watthana afterwards.
(I already had the ED visa before but my university didn't have the documents ready for my 6 months extension and now I have to leave the country and come back again after paying a 5 day overstay fine and getting a temporary 7 day extension).
The Thai E-visa website states it *could* take up to 15 days but I'm doubtful it would actually take that long?
Thinking of going to Kuala Lumpur or Cambodia to lodge the E visa application for tourist visa - does anyone have any recommendations?
Otherwise, a physical appointment at the Thai embassy in Vientiane, Laos may be a faster option?
Could anyone provide information about how to process a tourist visa for Thailand? Specifically:
1. Where in the Philippines can we apply for it?
2. Is it possible to apply online?
I am a Filipina, and my German boyfriend and I are currently living together in the Philippines. We want to know if it is possible to extend our stay in Thailand for up to 6 months after we arrive there.
Should we process the visa and the extension here in the Philippines, or can it be done after arriving in Thailand?
We would greatly appreciate clear and detailed answers to our questions. Thank you for your help!
if my Thai friend has no tenancy/rental agreement document then how can I upload it as part of the invitation letter? They are not the property owner so have no house registration document.
