I have had a one day overstay 3 or 4 times over the years. Never been fined. Just a squiggle under the depart stamp. When Covid struck my departing Etihad flight was cancelled so booked with Thai Airways for the same evening. Thai Airways changed the departure time to 3am. Went through immigration after midnight so the bastards fined me 1000thb for a 2 day overstay despite a very recent announcement by Govt. that Covid overstay fines would be waived. Still no red overstay stamp though. Just a small blue box with 2 days and 1000thb and some code in it.

Dont worry just tell her to tell them that you arrived yesterday or today. My landlord never reports in 24 hrs and always does this. P.S: The fine for her not you would be 2000thb if known to be reporting late.

He has a return flight booked in March. Can he enter visa exempt in November with this or will he need to show an exit flight or bus ticket within the 45 days or 75 days (with extension)?

Quicker too. Drives me nuts when people in front hold up the queue finding stuff on their phones! Much quicker and easier to just hand over the required documents.

Thanks to 14 years of Tory austerity governance! Pisses me off seeing Boris Johnson, Liz Truss already, wearing hard hats visiting factories, laying bricks, etc., pretending to be hands on and one of the people when they should be visiting the passport office, DVLA, etc., and sorting out their own public service understaffed mess! Just remember all this when you next go to the ballot box.
