Hi I hope someone can help.

My partner had an accident was in hospital and given a NOT fit to fly note until the 24th Jan with a follow up appointment on the 26th of Jan to hopefully get a fit to fly note

I mistakenly thought our visas expired on the 28tg of Jan but I have just checked and they expire on the 24th.

We are due to fly home on the 28th hopefully

But I was wondering what is the best options for us as we will be over staying .

But also the Not fit to fly is only for my partner

The question of what happens if one overstays is a recurring theme. I just spotted this notice at BKK airport. All the best everyone. 🖖

G'day page, made a numerical error when booking flights, arrived last night 21st stamped in to leave 60 days 19th Jan, but, return flight is next day so will be one day over,

Fess up now or pay fine in the day ?

Does an overstay reflect badly on future marriage visa application?

I just realized that I overstayed my 60 days. In fact, today makes 7 days over and I just arrived to Koh Phangan. I am trying to weigh my option on the most economical solution for myself.

Has anyone been stopped at the gate on the island and told to pay the fine before exiting the country?

Or do you only pay the fine when you're also getting an extension? I'm so curious.

Thanks for the support.

Hi there,

we have a daughter who is in overstay due to hospitalisation, she is less than 2 yrs old.

She has to do a non o visa linked to her mum visa (she has work permit).

I am wondering if my daughter could do a visa run, via tachilek or lao border, possibly in the same day.

I have been told that in Lao that wont be possible as we might need at least one or more days to stay.

I am not sure if they will allow us to do in one day just presenting her situation.

Anybody knows how to deal with it the quicker?

If my 60 days visa ends on the 7th but my flight to leave is on the 8th is that okay? Or do I need to extend?

I’m on a Non-Ed Education Visa through MFU university (chiang rai). It expires each Nov. 1 if not extended. There is a standard process for obtaining the correct documents via student services which is usually pretty straightforward (I’m still studying full time) but today they told me that all of a sudden there’s a delay in services because of tourist high season and I won’t receive my documents until 7-10days (normally 3-5).

So, I guess I will have to overstay 3-5 days and pay the fines. It’s my first time encountering overstay.

Anyone know if this poses future difficulties for me regarding immigration? I’m assuming yes.
