As long as you don't leave the country. Ideally you can travel to Phnom Penh if they request an interview

Yes if you can find who stamped you in. Otherwise just leave somewhere and come back

You have to slog it back to the border that you entered to have it corrected. Always check your stamp

How long do you need to leave Thailand before returning to get a fresh visa stamp after your 180 days are up?

a rule of thumb, no more than 180 days spent in Thailand per year. So that is 2 exempt entries + 2 extensions.

It doesn't matter how much or how little your income is. That isnt a requirement. You just have to show a work portfolio or some sort or resume of your work

It doesn't have to be a remote project. But the non remote project cannot be in Thailand obviously

There is a lot of people who do seasonal contract work then have downtime for 6 months. Nice work life balance too

No income requirements. Just proof of having some savings (500,000 baht or the equivalent) and some money coming in.

Ultimately the decision is made by a consular officer.
