Looking for options for border run from Phuket. Have looked at flights to Cambodia, but want to see if cheaper options. Thanks Group. 

Just started my slow-traveling adventure through SE Asia at the end of October 2024 and spent 58 days in Bangkok actually sightseeing and being a tourist.

The day after Christmas I took a 16-day trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia and returned to Bangkok on January 11th, but I am leaving for Cambodia again this Sunday for a two week stay. So my stay this time in Thailand was five weeks.

Next stop is three months in Vietnam, but my original plans had me book the flight from DMK.

I'll do a border crossing back into Thailand from Siem Reap for just 1-1/2 days before flying to Da Nang. I have a confirmed hotel stay near DMK, a confirmed booking on Thai Air Asia for my flight to Dan Nang, along with a confirmed Vietnam visa.

Do you think Thai immigration will give me any issues at the land border crossing coming in from Cambodia? My travel intentions are not to do border runs or border bounces. Just happened to go back-and-forth between Thailand and Cambodia for the past four months. Any advice is appreciated.

Does anybody reccomend the best neighbouring country to apply from for a smooth process for a UK passport holder? I’m hoping not to have to fly all the way back home to be approved Has anyone tried Cambodia? 🙌 Thank you

If I apply DTV from Cambodia do I have to be in Phnom Phenh or can I be anywhere in Cambodia?

Anyone that applied from Cambodia can share their experience with getting their DTV approved ? I applied the 20th of January and the status is still Pending for approval

Embassy in Phnomh Penh is also not answering and hang up on you when you’re trying to call

Are there pros and cons for applying in Laos over Vietnam? Or say Vietnam over Cambodia? I wanted to explore more of Laos after applying.

What countries (near Thailand) are offering the fastest processing times?

When it was in-person applications, Taiwan was known for being speedy.

Now that everyone is using the e-Visa system, where should they go?

I have nothing against spending a week in Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, or Cambodia. I'd still prefer a fast turnaround that's hassle-free. But I'd prefer it NOT to be two weeks or longer!

Hi guys, I’ve gone through an agent to sort my DTV. She is saying I am able to leave Cambodia by air and go back to Thailand, and just do a border run when my visa is accepted. Only issue is there is quite a language miscommunication. So I do not want to go unless I know this is ok. Has anyone else done this? I have friends from the UK arriving in Thailand tomorrow so would hate to miss seeing them because I have to stay in Cambodia. Thanks for any info that can help/assist me!

I just submitted my DTV application in Cambodia (Phnom Penh). When it led me to the payment page before submission, the visa fee was 0 USD and I was able to submit without making a payment (well, I couldn't really make any payment more likely).

Currently my visa is under processing reviewing the documents and I also can download the receipt of 0 USD.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

I can't find any other information on the similar issue! 🥺
