I pan on doing dtv visa for me and my husband is going to do education visa.

Also what do you think is a good monthly income for a family of 4 in bangkok or phuket? Or other cities i should look into?

Does anyone here that apply for DTV have kids? And which route are you guys going? I have kids AND i want them to attend international school. In which areas you have your kids attend school and how the process works please let me know thanks..

I have a question regarding Thai Visas and I would greatly appreciate it if anyone with with similar experiences could help me out.

My family has moved over to Thailand for 2 years. Currently, my kid is enrolled in an international school in Chiang Mai with a Thai Education Visa. I have an 'O' Dependent Visa which is tied to my kid's Education Visa.

I am currently considering a switch of school for my kid within Chiang Mai. Should that happen, do both my kid and myself need to re-apply for both the Education Visa and Dependent Visa instead of a simple extension? Do we or I need to return back to country of origin should a reapplication be required?

Hello everyone, we are a family of 3 and prior to our son visited Thailand annually for over 10 years. Our son is 3 and had his first trip in March this year- we had the best time. We would love to send him to start school there for a couple of years if not longer (we are from Scotland!) ideally would like to do 2x 3 month trips next year to get a feel for it rather than just a 3 week holiday, with the plan of him starting school the following year (2026!) Amy advice or tips? Don’t know where to start if I’m honest. Thanks for you help!

I’ll be living in Jomtien area and I wanted some advice about teaching English in Thailand.

I have a degree and I’m from the UK, can anyone who has been an English teacher let me know how to:

1. Go about getting a job, are there agencies, if so contacts would be great?

2. Will schools help with getting at work visa?

Any other advice, from those with experience in this area would be great.

I’m an American, married to a Thai citizen, here on a Non-Immigrant O visa. An international school is interested in hiring me to teach. However, they asked me to change my visa to a Work Visa, as it would be a less difficult process for them in hiring me. Your thoughts?

Update: I just did some research on the school. So many former employees give bad reviews of the place!

I am moving to Thailand in July to work at an international school. I need to get my name verification form notarized by the court or the embassy. I’ve made some calls, but cannot get any leads on how to do this. Any suggestions? I am in Idaho, USA.
