Hello, Everyone's quick question I've been doing research for quite a while preparing and making arrangements for a DTV for Thailand. I'm looking to leave the U.S.
I am trans and want to take the best and most effective routes if anyone has resources or best jobs if any I could take
Hi all! I’m new to the group. We are looking to retire in about 3 years to Thailand. My husband gets both military pension and disability, which we can easily live off of, but I also wanted to maybe teach English, as a supplemental if possible. I’ve taught both high school and college level English. When we move, I would be 53 years of age. I’ve read Thailand has a strict retirement age, but wasn’t sure if that applied to expats. Any information is greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone! I need advice can someone help me answer this please. If I’m planning to move to Thailand in June with my 2 small children should I obtain a visa now or once I arrive? And what visa do my kids need?
I would like to teach English but I don’t have a bachelor degree only a TEFL Certificate. I’m not sure if I should go for a work visa or Educational visa. 🤷🏽♀️
And lastly, should I book a one way ticket if I plan to stay long term.✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I'm hoping to move to Chiang Mai area in October/ November 2024. I already have TEFL qualification, level 3. In Chiang Mai I intend to then take level 5 TEFL. My intention is to teach English online and at language schools. I do not have a degree. Any advice on best visa to obtain initially and then when in Thailand gratefully received.
I'm considering moving to thailand for a year. I have a pension that pays me enough to qualify for the LTR wealthy pensioner visa from what I understand. Do you have to be 50 years old to qualify for this? I'm 41, if this disqualifies me, are there other options to stay for around a year to see if I want to stay longer? Visa runs, muay thai visa, enroll my daughter in school etc. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi everyone, I'm Dita from Indonesia. I currently hold a diploma and am planning to apply for jobs in Thailand. Do companies in Thailand generally accept diplomas, or is it true that work permits in Thailand require only a Bachelor's degree?
I would like to know what options are available... I have been offered to help out at my Thai friend's shop/restaurant and help the staff there with their English. Is it possible to get a volunteer visa for this kind of work? Or do I need a proper work permit? Is it possible to do this work legally?
