Also what do you think is a good monthly income for a family of 4 in bangkok or phuket? Or other cities i should look into?

Hi all, we are relocating to Bangkok next summer and need some advice/answers about visas.

I'll be going to grad school in Bangkok and want to bring my spouse and our 2 babies with me. How difficult, long, expensive is the process to get visas for them? And do we apply for them beforehand or after we arrive?

I don't know if it matters but we are French, American, and kiddos have dual citizenship FR/US

Moving with family to live in BKK this Summer.

Myself and 2 sons have UK and Thai passports. Husband on UK passport only.

To enter Thailand -

1. Should me and my sons use our Thai or UK passports (and get 1 year extension on the basis of being Thai)? Any advice on advantages or disadvantages of using either passport. (Thought using UK passport would be more convenient to travel to Europe etc but not sure if we have to do 90 day reporting )

2. Can we use the passports interchangeably? For eg. In and out of THA on Thai passport and in and out of UK on UK passport? Which passport would you check-in with?

3. Is it best to apply for Non-O Spouse visa for husband before entering THA or convert while there? At the mo, we can only get single entry but we plan to fly from Singapore- BKK - LDN - BKK
