Hi, can someone clarify please. I have my 12 month retirement visa now which is valid from 22/09/24 to 22/09/25. I didn’t get a 90 day reporting slip but I have a slip in my visa for notification of residency which is on 10/11/24 (a Sunday!)
Is this different to the 90 day reporting? Does anyone know if I just go to the main immigration office in hua hin in blue port top floor or the smaller one in the basement and what documents do I need to take. TIA
Hello, my dad and his girlfriend will be visiting me (in Nahkon Ratchasima) for 2 weeks in December. I have booked accommodation in other provinces, but they will first come home with me for 3 nights before we travel further. Should I be sending them a photo of my notification of residence to avoid any problems upon entry? How can I ensure a smooth-as-possible immigration check for them? It's their first time leaving South Africa. 🙏🏼
As you can see on the login screen of the current TM30 web system ( and in the email sent to the registered address), the web system will be replaced on 15 Sep.
You will need to register again at the new website on or after 15 September
The extension of my ED visa ends Aug 20. But I also have a notification of residence date for Aug 17. I'll be applying for covid extension soon. So I have to go do all this before Aug 17 right? What do I need to bring to do notification of residence? My landlord needs to do something too?
So I’ve been renting an apartment since January and have been coming in and out of Thailand using the 30 visa on arrival + 30 day extension.
Do I need a new TM30 each time I re-enter or does the first one suffice? If i do need a new one each time, who should do it, me or my landlord.
To tell you the truth I’ve actually lost the original one done back in January, luckily they've never asked for it when I’ve gone to extend my visa (I’ve extended it twice so far)
Rather than descriptions of what various immigration offices may or may not require, I am interested in an interpretation of what Thai Immigration law actually says about Forms TM30 and TM28. For example: If I enter the country, stay at a hotel in BKK for a few nights (presumably they fill out a TM30) and then travel up country to live in my wife's house, am I required to fill out a TM28 as notice of staying in a new province for over 24 hours? If I go to Cambodia to begin a new 90 day entry on my Non-O multi, is my wife legally required to fill out a new TM30 to match my new entry card? I know different offices handle these things differently and if I have no more to do with immigration they may never find out. BUT, I am interested in what the law actually requires.
I’m returning to Thailand from the UK in 2 days... I have a non B extension for a year... I understand I need to go to immigration to fill out a notification of residence form... but do I need my landlord to sign something? Because hats going to be tough to do within 24 hrs of arriving!
