Hello everyone, I need advice, according to the visa-free rules I can enter twice a calendar year, I entered Thailand on January 13, 2025, left on January 22 and entered again on January 26, on January 28 2025 I flew home, on April 11 I want to fly again, and so I'm wondering if I can still use the visa-free regime or do I need to open a multiple-entry visa? I would be grateful for your help 🙏
Hi, I travelled to Thailand during Christmas 2024 and got 60 days visa free stamp validity till 20 Feb 2025.
But I returned back to my country in 2 weeks time.
My passport has stamp of 20 Feb 2025 as last date of visa. I plan to travel again on first week of March.
Question : Do I need to apply for extension visa from my country or travel again normally and get 60 days free visa stamp again? Will there be any questions at immigration for this ?
My question is I have come to Thailand and got two months visa free. And I want to extend for another one month , is it possible? I am an Indian passport holder and I came from Georgia!
Need some advice regarding land border entry for tourism.
Nationality: Indian, eligible for 60 day visa free entry
1. Planning to fly in to BKK, travel to the north for 7 days (Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai) , cross-over to Laos, and take the boat to Luang Prabang, and spend 10 days in Laos.
2. Cross over to Thailand via Nong Khai border (avail visa free entry), travel Nong Khai to BKK , then take the bus from BKK to Siem Reap (Cambodia).
3. Stay in Cambodia for 10 days, crossover again to Thailand from Aranyaprathet, and fly back to India.
Key questions:
1. Is the visa free entry scheme for Indian citizens valid for these 2 border crossings- Nong Khai and Aranyaprathet. I have seen reports of some Indians being denied entry at Nong Khai and asked to fly from Vientiene to Bangkok instead.
2. Is there any restriction on the number of times a person can avail the visa free entry scheme, (i will be entering Thailand 3 times within a period of 30 days, before finally flying back to India)
3. Am i expected face any additional scrutiny or entry denial on account of my nationality, vs say a person from a first world country?
I have been here visa free for the past 110 days left for 3 days after first 60 days were up came back through DMK, a young IO wasn't happy for some reason and passed me on to her boss who asked me why I had come back I said I had a girl friend and he seemed happy to allow me in I will be leaving again in 9 days but returning 1 week later this time through BKK should I get a tourist visa or will I be ok visa free?
Hi lam coming tomorrow Thailand on the 25th of November with a 60 day visa free entry, but would like to extend it to 90 days.
Is it possible to ask on arrival for the extra 30 days or should l wait and extend my stay by going to an immigration office in Bangkok ?
Also as l have a Thai friend who will be picking me up l do not have a hotel reservation or proof of Accommodation, but will be staying at a resort but will book when l arrive, would this be a problem on arrival without proof of accommodation.
I am currently in Bangkok on a non-O visa. I am Canadian and can enter VISA free for 60 days. I don't intend to extend my non-O visa so I am not getting a re-entry permit on my way to Vietnam where I will apply for a a DTV e-visa.
Do I have to wait for the result of my application as I need to fly back to Bangkok the following day. If my VISA is approved on my way back I could technically check when I arrive in Bangkok but I have nowhere to print a copy to show to the IO. So my question is can I just enter Bangkok on 60-day VISA free and activate the DTV Visa the next time I re-enter Bangkok? Has anyone been on a similar situation?
I am dual citizen. One passport allows me to enter Vietnam Visa Free and the other one requires a Visa. I will be applying for DTV visa using the passport that requires Visa to enter Vietnam. Question- is there anyone in a similar situation who entered Vietnam Visa free? How did you go about with the entry stamp requirement?
