New 60 day on arrival visa, arrived in November on 60 day tourist visa and got 30 day extension at Buriram, went to Vietnam for a week, arrived back in Bangkok and they would not let me back in the Kingdom, said I was staying too long, put me in a room with a bunch of Africans, luckily my partner of 5 years was with me and she had to sign a form and after an hour I was allowed in, I thought that I had followed the rules to the letter, I think that in future I will get the 6 month multi entry tourist visa, my girlfriend has a 5 year visitor visa for England and we spend 6 months in Thailand and 6 months in England, just a warning for people here on the 60 day tourist visa I would do a road visa run to Cambodia and avoid the main airport.
Can you still work remotely under a soft power visa? I am not planning on applying under workcation just wanted to know if it’s legal to work remotely(not for anyone in Thailand, but for a foreign company) later while still under the soft power visa?
Hi team. I’m a Fifo (Fly in fly out of Australia) working a 2 on 3 off roster. Other than 2 years of Covid I been living in Thailand for over 13years coming in and out on a tourist Visa via Suvarnbhumi AP, never a problem…
I’m keen for a DTV for various reasons including but not limited too, long stays other than my 3 weeks off, drivers license renewal for longer than 12 months, accounts and personnal reasons.
My question is, has anyone FiFo here or know of anyone FiFo been successful with this DTV?
Hey guys 👋🏻 can i still attach my spouse to my visa as a dependent when applying through muay thai classes? Should I buy a new class after 6 month or provide any proofs that I still learn muay thai?
I found the process an absolute doddle and had my DTV processed quickly. I'm not seeing much in the way of what people are doing regarding Thai tax laws, however. Are people just getting their 180 day stamp each time they enter and not worrying about it? Or are most people residing elsewhere for part of the year too?
Just intrigued to know how people are navigating this.
