anyone had luck opening thai bank account with DTV? I want to avoid these pesky ATM fees.. what to do if they ask for proof of your apartment??

Hi everyone, I'm applying from the UK (London) for DTV1 and wondering what does the contract need to look like? It needs to be from a company in the UK or can I use my contract from a German company? The document indicating current location can be my bank statement right? As I will be applying from my parents house where my bank is registered and don't have any other utilities etc with that address on. Thank you :)

Update on DTV application online through Sydney Embassy. I applied using soft power with this course [members only]/ For proof of address I gave my drivers licence and a phone bill. Four months of bank statements. Did not need to show proof of flight and accom. Processing time was 14 days, approval email came through on a Saturday. Paid with a Thai credit card, as my Australian credit card rejected the transaction due to fraud monitoring.

When having my uk passport legalised do I just need the ID PART doing or the whole passport.cos there is quite a bit of difference in price

Just had a few questions before I submit; 1 & 2 seem pretty straightforward. 3, are they asking for my current US address, like a bill addressed to me? Not sure what they’re askin’ for. 4; can this be my US account, or do I need a Thai banking account? I do have a Wise account, that I could transfer funds into, however I’d prefer to keep it in my US account. 5; I do have a letter from a Muay Thai gym, however, it is 6 photos, and the maximum picture size can be no larger than 3MB. I have a file compressor, but I’m not sure which of the 6 files to upload.

I leave on the 22nd, for Pattaya. Hope this is enough time.

Has anyone used a credit card statement as proof of location in the US?

Is a bank statement with my address on it a proof of address?

Also, i'm currently in Australia, ready to go to thailand but i'm sending this off. Once the visa is in motion, can I leave and visit thailand on a 60 day tourist visa or do I have to stay out of the country until it gets approved?

Got my visa today.(Ho chi Minh )Applied last week on Tuesday but had to send proof of address. Stamp wasn't enough so I added my rental contract.

I work as a tutor online. I sent the link to my profile on the site I work on and wrote what I do and sent a 6 month earnings report.

Bank statement 6 months. The amount was there from the beginning.
