yes you can just like on any other tourist visa. You don’t get any days but it will keep your last 180 days ‘alive’ with a re-entry permit

If you enter Thailand on the last day of your visa validity you will get 180 days. I think you can get a re-entry permit in this case.

What consulate is asking for proof of monthly income? Sounds like you are either confused or don’t have the ฿500K and are trying to be creative and make up for the fact you don’t have the cash

you can pay cash at the bank counter or an ATM and deposit money into someone else’s account. There aren’t any free wire transfers from Schwab

totally false information as there isn’t any law that requires a certain visa type to open an account. The image you posted is one branch’s guidelines not a law.
