might get flagged by your bank as potential fraud and declined but a quick call would fix it and the transaction would go through after you called your bank. It won't be an issue you just might have to jump through a couple of hoops
Land border bounce resets 1st Jan, so she can bounce twice more by land but if staying long term should really look into something more permanent such as METV, Elite Visa, getting a job etc etc.
If you're staying 60 days or less, just arrive on a visa exemption and get a visa extension at an immigration office. Will cost you 1900฿, couple of forms to fill out and a photocopy of you passport information page and latest entry stamp. Youll also need a passport photo that has been taken within the last 6 months. Give the money and forms sit around for maybe an hour and you're done.
You can download and print the forms now and prefill them out so you don't have to do it at immigration, just leave the date blank and put the date when you go do it.
bank receipt isn't sufficient. You need to declare it online to HM revenue & customs before leaving and print the declaration for border security in case they ask to see the declaration (which happens more often than people realise.) If you haven't declared it and they do ask to see it (which is very likely), you'll lose the money and get fined 5k.
the banking system in Thailand is not like the west. Very few banks actually show you a name and reference of a transfer, just the transfer code. Every place I've rented asks for either an upload to an app of the slip or it to be sent via line. Many places if paying through scan will also take a picture of that slip too.
Why even consider risking it 🤦 you're potentially fucking up your future over a few pieces of paper, 1900 baht and a couple of hours at an Immigrant office...
