. Should also mention that it needs to stay 400k minimum until the consideration period is over. Changwattana (Bangkok) is 21 days now previously 30 . Once the extension is stamped into your passport, you can do what you like with the money.

Been like that for months now. Mine was same in May . I asked why and they answered "new law"..

. I got my original visa in my home country. They didn't care where it came from as long as the account was mine. And it was far less than 400k. They also said I could use money in thaibaccount if I had one.
