Sounds like you’re living in Thailand by using these visa exemptions. If you’re using them consecutively, that’s the issue. 2 back to back of these essentially means 6 months, which translates to“living in Thailand.” They do want you to live in Thailand, but there’s a price to pay for that “service”.

none. You show up to immigration and pay the 1900 baht fee. Some offices need your tm30 form to be in order when applying for the extension.

it’s just common sense to wait for your visa to be processed as you need your passport. Average is 2 weeks.

You can apply for a 30-day extension on your tourist visa, and an extra 7 days after that. But you probably have enough time to apply for a DTV in a neighboring country, if you act fast.

getting a ‘proper’ tourist visa doesn’t exempt you from getting refused at the border. The only advantage it provides is that it’s holder isn’t restricted to the 2 land border crossings per year.

Siem reap is awesome and Cambodia offers an evisa… just a small entry stamp, same as in Thailand
