. I think so too.. because I've done it 4 times on 4 yearly extensions. All they want to see is 400k minimum balance for 2 months prior to applying day.

The 400k for a marriage extension can come from anywhere. So transferring it from wife's thai account is fine.

. All you.need is the housebook your wife is registered to, regardless of who is the housemaster. You will also need a photocopy of the first page and page with your wife listed on it. Copies signed by housemaster and get them to write on copy that you have their permission to live there and signed. I've done this 4 times with no issues.

. This isn't about you. If it isn't stamped , it will be logged in the microchip.inside your passport and thai immigration will see it when you re enter and they scan your passport at control..

Walk in the front door of MFA and looked confused. A translator agent will approach you and offer to get it translated and mfa approved for you, 24 hour turnover . Prices start at 300b.

Just make sure you pass through customs and get your passport stamped in the other country. Singapore and KL you won't need an entry visa. Vietnam I think you will.

I've done this myself twice with no issue.

Get the 1 year marriage visa . Half way through(before 90 days) , fly to a nearby country and fly back same day eg Singapore KL,or HCM.. A lot less hassle than messing around at immigration and about the same price as an extension is anyway.
