A group of Indian friends is coming to Thailand for about 2 weeks and are unaware of visa requirements. I know that Indian citizens have been granted a waiver of VISA requirements by the Thai Government until November.
Does it mean that they do not have to prepare any particular document and they will just get stamped at the airport?
Thank you very much for your kind advice and have a good day.
Will arrive in Bkk on 1st June. And since Indian citizens are currently having visa exemption do I directly goto immigration or to the visa on arrival counter for my exemption stamp? Also do I need to show any documents (hotel stay, onward flight ticket, cash requirements etc.) for the visa exemption stamp?
I have some relatives coming to visit me and one of them is a Indian citizen. They didn't realise until after they booked the tickets that he only got 15 days with the VOA, he could get a tourist visa from my country since he have a PR there but the process is much longer for non citizens so it might be too late now.
Would immigration hassle him if he did a trip to Malaysia and fly back in for a 2nd VOA? Last time they visited Thailand was 12 months ago and they spent 1 week here.
