I want to apply for a Digital Nomad DTV Visa on 26th February at the Vientiane Embassy in Laos. My occupation is Business Owner, so I would like to know which documents I need to provide. I’ve noticed in this group that the embassy sometimes asks for additional documents, like a contract agreement or a work contract (B2B). Could you kindly clarify?
My Experience with the DTV Visa - Applying from India
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my experience applying for the DTV Visa under the Digital Nomad / Workcation category.
A big thank you to this group! The posts and shared experiences from other members were incredibly helpful.
I applied for the DTV Visa on February 10th from India, selecting the New Delhi embassy. I paid the visa fee of 10,000 THB via bank deposit at a DBS Bank branch.
## Documents Submitted:
* A formal letter on my company’s letterhead, signed and stamped, explaining my work.
* A No Objection Letter (NOC) from the Board of Directors, confirming that my company has no issues with me working remotely.
* My company’s Incorporation Certificate and GST Certificate.
* My personal bank statement for the past three months. (I didn’t maintain a balance of 500,000 THB consistently, but I had around 600,000 THB in my account for the past week.)
* My recent income tax return, showing my annual income.
* For proof of current location, I submitted my national ID and the most recent Indian entry stamp on my passport.
* For accommodation, I booked a "pay at hotel" reservation for 81 days and entered those details.
That’s all I submitted.
I applied yesterday, and today, I received my visa via email!
I submitted all documents today and got within few hours a reply that they need some more details, even if I sent them already, I will submit them again, I am confused about the following:
"**Certificate of entry and exit date From National Immigration Agency"
**Is this the Visa out of Thailand stamp (coming from there) and the Entry stamp of Taipei? ...because I sent a picture already of this from the beginning.
Any idea?
They also requested bank statement, which I all sent to them...
I’m currently residing in Thailand with a DTV visa, and I have all the required documents in place, including proof of residence and a Thai bank account. I’m interested purchasing a car through leasing and would love to hear from anyone who has experience with the process.
Could anyone provide information on:
Which companies offer car leasing options for foreigners with a DTV visa?
What documents or requirements should I be prepared for?
Are there any tips or things to watch out for when leasing a car in Thailand?
What are the typical rates for leasing? Do the rates for foreigners with DTV visas differ, or are they the same as for Thai residents? Does it vary from bank to bank?
apply evisa in Jakarta on Dec 8th, change status to pending approval on 11th, and just approved today on 13th! Really nervous because my flight is tomorrow and plan to change the flight if until 9pm I didn't get the visa yet.
They didn't ask for more document but I also make sure all the documents are complete and the Muay Thai place that I choose is really helpful w the necessary docs.
I am currently a DTV visa holder and applied for my spouse under the dependent category on Monday, including a sponsorship letter. However, the consular requested additional documents to clearly show my salary income in the bank statement I submitted. Since my salary is paid by my home country bank in mmk currency, I used my Bangkok Bank account for the statement. To address the request, I submitted my last six pay slips, highlighted the currency exchange transactions in the bank statement, and provided a clarification letter. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?
I’m planning a vacation to Sri Lanka at the end of December and need advice on applying for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Colombo. Could someone share insights on the process? Specifically:
1. What documents do I need to provide?
2. Do I need to book an appointment, or is it a walk-in process?
Any additional tips or recent experiences would be greatly appreciated!
