Even for the payment, I didn’t go to the embassy as its far from my place. I just deposited the money in their DBS account and emailed them the acknowledgement receipt.
I uploaded everything online, including the bank statements, which I downloaded directly from internet banking. Unlike Schengen or other visa applications, there was no need for a bank’s signature and stamp.
The Thai government use the TM30 immigration form to keep track of foreigners' locations within the country. This applies to both long and short visits by foreigners. It is submitted by the owners of the lodging where you are staying.
