I did a Bank Wire Transfer from the USA (Wells Fargo) to my friends Thailand bank account on November 8. It says arrival by November 20, & still has not arrived. I can’t understand why this transaction doesn’t take seconds, or even 1-2 days. Any ideas?
Hello guys, i have Bangkok bank account for a while, but never used it before. Now i went to fix my online banking, and visited two separate branches to do so. Both of them told me different prices as a comission for money sending. First branch told me 100 baht the second one told me 1150 baht. Wire for Real Estate purchase. Monies coming from USA. Should I wire in baht or dollars to my Thai bank? It’s giving me the option to send baht or dollars. If I do baht it shows conversion rate with total. If I send dollars it only shows it’s sending dollars. I don’t really care I just want to make sure the Thai bank recognizes the transfer as correct for used to purchase property.
May I get any advice as to the best large sum money transfer services for US dollar transfer to a Kasakorn bank account? (My Thai wife of 13 years, and I hope to purchase some property/condo while exchange rates are goof and prices remain slightly depressed)
Anyone here with a Schwab One account using Swift to wire money to their Bangkok Bank account via NY branch??? I get 3 free wires per quarter and I’ve been told it’s converted into the Bangkok Bank account as “Buying TT rate” which is usually excellent conversion rates. I’m also considering doing direct deposit into Bangkok Bank NY branch of my Social Security checks.
Anyone done this w their Schwab One account and can attest to this??? Thanks
