Is it possible to use training and studying in a government approved Thai massage school in Chiang Mai as your reason for applying for a DTV? If so, then what documentation for the program do I need to provide? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I’m a bit confused about the 500k baht financial requirement for the DTV.

Do I need to show a bank statement with 500k baht maintained for the past 3 months, or can I use payslips/client invoices to prove I have the equivalent income?

Applied via softpower in HCM. They are requesting for proof of income. I thought they dont check for proof of income for softpower?? I did muay thai btw

Can you edit the application at the embassy? I put the place of issue as Shanghai since this is where the passport was issued. Doesn't make sense to me that I would need to put America because it's an American passport, they know it came from America. Same with any other country. Why have that on there if the answer is just the country of the passport?

It's a holiday here so no one will look at it until Monday. So I plan to go there first thing in the morning to change it.

the rules have changed in hong kong now you need a bank statement of at least 19000 € before it was 15000 €???

I just calles the Thai embassy in Madrid and they told me that I cannot have a sponsor and it should be me the one who has these 500k in the bank.

Does anyone know more about this?

Could this be possible even tho in the website it says I can have a sponsor?

Is this really a common thing? I have multiple accounts from interest accounts, to savings, to investments.

Unfortunately over all the accounts, none of them for six months will show 500,000 baht. But joint together, there is a lot more than 500,000 baht in my currency.

Is it going to be a problem?

Hey guys do I really need to show them a bank statement of the last 6 months? I mean on their website they never asked for the payslip of the last 6 months . Or do they?

Can I open a bank account today, perform multiple transactions, and issue a bank statement to apply for for a visa next week? Is that possible?
