Question: Some embassies say that your photo must be taken by a smartphone (UK Embassy) and scanned version of your photo is not accepted (New Zealand Embassy). What kind of photos did you submit on the evisa website? We are thinking about Malaysia, Jakarta or Cambodia but their websites don't say anything about this. TIA
I need to renew my international passport and get thai visa photo for exstention in Phuket Does anyone know if Phuket immigration does international passport photos thankyou
Can anyone confirm if the immigration office is operating in Koh phagnan and whether there is somewhere there to get passport pics done for extending a 30 day visa exempt.
Hello all. My current (and first) 45-day visa expires on Jan. 2. I plan to extend 30 days. However, my future travel plans have changed, which means I will also need to renew my US passport at the embassy before I travel in late January. My plan now is to renew visa then renew passport immediately after (I do not want to renew passport now in case it takes longer than my visa expiration date -- so visa first). My questions are: 1. Will I receive my old passport back along with my new one. 2. Will I be able to transfer my 30-day visa stamp onto my new passport. Thanks.
My non-O retirement visa expires in early December, wondering if any of the requirements have changed in the last year. Only major change for me is that I'm legally married to a Thai.
One question about requirements for the photos of passport pages - I recently got a re-entry permit and made high quality color scans of the passport pages - the lady at Thai Imm at Central Festival wouldn't accept them, made b&w photocopies instead.
Is that what they want for non O retirement?
