My non-O retirement visa expires in early December, wondering if any of the requirements have changed in the last year. Only major change for me is that I'm legally married to a Thai.
One question about requirements for the photos of passport pages - I recently got a re-entry permit and made high quality color scans of the passport pages - the lady at Thai Imm at Central Festival wouldn't accept them, made b&w photocopies instead.
Is that what they want for non O retirement?

8. Proof you meet the financial requirements of 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account seasoned for 2 months along with a letter from the bank.
If renewing the one year extension of stay, the 800,000 THB must be seasoned for two months before applying and three months after the last extension of stay was granted, and for the money not to have been lower then 400,000 THB throughout the calendar year.
9. 1 year bank statements – allow 1 week.
10. Letter from the bank confirming account and balances.
11. Bank Passbook must be updated the day that the visa is applied for.
12. A hand drawn map to your residence. This map is not fancy, and should only show the cross streets, any landmarks and location.
13. 2x passport pictures - Nov 2021 only needed 1.
With a new passport with extension of stay stamp transferred over (Thai Family, Non O) , when someone goes for the next annual extension do they need to have two photocopies of the old passport pages with visas and stamps or just only the new passport copies?
Can anybody tell me if when getting the final stamp for the turist visa extension ( which I already paid) it’s required to bring again 2 photocopies of each page and a picture?
--Information Only- So, Once again I completed my one year extension of stay based on being over 50 (Commonly, and incorrectly referred to as retirement visa) at Samut Prakan immigration today. I used the 800K banked money method in a Time deposit account and obtained the bank letter and updated the book yesterday afternoon. Since last year's visit the TM.7, 'Acknowledgement of penalties for overstay' and 'Acknowledgement of terms and conditions for permit of temporary stay' are all exactly the same but in a slightly different font, so I had to rewrite them. They no longer require the 'Foreign national information form', but they do require a photocopy of your TM.30 (which is new). I used my Yellow book for address purposes, but curiously they asked for my Wife's Tabien Baan (which she hadnt brought, but they were happy with a photocopy of her ID card). Copies of passport info page, last visa stamp, Last entry stamp, TM.6 (both sides) and last extension of stay stamp rounded out the paperwork. In and out in a little over 90 minutes which I was quite happy with. Be advised the photocopy booth has moved outside and has long queues.
Had a slightly different experience in Khon Kaen immigration this morning. Went for a re entry permit, took all the correct photocopies, had no issues until close to the end where the officer started saying "photocopy photocopy", I said photocopy what ? He wanted a photocopy of the official receipt that was still attached to his receipt book !! Strange, as I am fairly familiar with immigration procedures and have never come across this one. Just in case your wondering, I photocopied it and gave it to him.... all's well that ends well :)
