Frank Shevchuk too many people who don’t qualify to stay in Thailand grasping at whatever means possible they can get to stay here..it’s a privilege to be able to live here, not a right..
Then these folks end up getting an ED visa and complain that there is a minimum requirement for class attendance in order to maintain the visa…
um, maybe it involves something that is particular to USA/Americana like visas procedures etc…in which case, getting information or advice from other nationalities would be moot…just a thought…
At least in the United States, its become very hard for a single Thai women with no steady income to get a visa. This is not without reason, many of the Thai folks are infamous for going abroad to "visit" and ending up overstaying for years working illegally etc. Not saying I support the tough handedness, but the authorities are simply reacting to the situation. It seems many single Thai ladies will move and stay abroad with the hopes that they will find a spouse and will be able to get a legit long term visa.
