visa exempt is 60 days for those who qualify. You then get 30 day extension before leaving the country. When you come back 90 days start again so no need to report.

the type of Visa is irrelevant. If you are in Thailand for more than 90 days you need to submit a report. Personally I have a non o Visa based on being over 50 with a 12 month extension. I think maybe there are a couple of Visa types that do not require 90 day reporting. Someone will no doubt post what they are.

They have no idea when you returned to Bangkok so as long as your tm30 is now up to date and stays that way until you extend you will have no issue. Do you do it on line?

make sure you get health insurance that is accepted. Non o does not require any so you can go with whomever you like.
