Transfers to Bangkok Bank from uk using the reason long term stay in Thailand show as international transfer as required by immigration. I also contacted Wise and had my account tagged. I've not had a problem since.

no. I know of three people who have gone over to Laos and back to Thailand the same day to get 60 day Visa exempt and that is all in the last couple of weeks at Nakhon Phanom.

A friend of mine just crossed back into Thailand from Laos for the third time this year. His first entry was stamped 1 and his second 2. His 3rd entry was stamped 1 and he was told it was his first entry of 2025!

Get the 90 day non o before coming to Thailand and enter on that. Then you are all set to apply for the 12 month extension based on being over 50 when the time comes at your local immigration using your banked money.
