I’m on a Non-Ed Education Visa through MFU university (chiang rai). It expires each Nov. 1 if not extended. There is a standard process for obtaining the correct documents via student services which is usually pretty straightforward (I’m still studying full time) but today they told me that all of a sudden there’s a delay in services because of tourist high season and I won’t receive my documents until 7-10days (normally 3-5).
So, I guess I will have to overstay 3-5 days and pay the fines. It’s my first time encountering overstay.
Anyone know if this poses future difficulties for me regarding immigration? I’m assuming yes.
Hello, question, if you have overstay how can you pay for the days you overstayed? and will it affect it if you want to get a visa extension? Thank you in advance 🙏
I hope you’re well. Quick question. My visa ends on the 1st of March. I was supposed to fly out on the same day, but the flight just got cancelled. I have the option to rebook a day later
Does anyone know if it poses any other risk besides the 500 Baht fine, for overstaying one day?
So…I am going to go over my visa by two days. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it a big enough deal that I should go to immigration for an extension, or just pay the fine and be on my way. (I will be flying out of Bangkok in case that’s relevant). Thanks!
the last 2 times ive visited thailand ive over stayed by 1 and 2 days, and paid the fine as i left.will this or could this interfere with up coming visits?
My tourist visa extension expires on 27 Jan 2019, but I've booked my flight for 28 January 2019 on 17:40 pm.Anyway, what are the chances of getting this fine?
Finally, is a one day overstay a big deal? Like, will they put a big red mark in my passport?
