I would like to report that this morning I received acceptance of my on line 90 day report from the official immigration website. This was following on from filing my tm30 twice using the unofficial tm30.io website. I can only assume that Thai Immigration accept tm30 filing on this unofficial site so the worry that it could have been a scam collecting data seems to be unfounded.

Does my logic make sense to everyone?

Just because it works doesn't mean they're not harvesting your information. But the general opinion is that they're legit and just ramping up to offer paid services to larger volume entities like hotels.

I don't use them because I don't want to give my passport number to a private company I know nothing about - and besides that after immi have changed their system it is much easier to report from the official website

why? because they send the data to immigration and if the data comes from you or from a private company I really don't see that it should be less work from immi
