You need to cancel your retirement visa, leave the country and get a non-b return and obtain your work permit. The company you will be working for should provide all the necessary paperwork for both the Non-B and the work permit. I would keep your retirement active until you have all the paperwork for your non-b then cancel it and go to an embassy in a neighbouring country

You'll need a TM.7, STM.2, Acknowledgement of fines for. A Passport photo, copy of bio page, copy of your visa stamp page, and possibly a copy of your TM.30 receipt (best to take it just in case and your hotel will provide that one)

You can print, fill in the forms before you come, just leave the date blank and fill in the date when you go to immigration. Personally though, I would suggest applying for the 60 day TR visa from your local Thai embassy.

An active 90 day report (from last entry) for your current address.

Your lease agreement.

A copy of the landlords ID + signature.

A copy of your TM.30 report receipt.

A copy of your passport Bio page.

A copy of your current Visa page.

A passport sized photo. (Which meets passport requirements)

The application form.

Take it to the immigration office where your 90 day report is registered for, pay the fee pick it up a few days to a week later.

If you can't do that then you have 2 options

1. Take a Thai person with you (you might have better luck, still not a guarantee to be able to open it though)

2. Pay an agency to open it for you.

yeah, pretty certain you will be fine. Given that is your entire history I would be extremely surprised if you got pulled out of line and questioned.

it's hit and miss. I took a friend a few weeks back and the person who was checking his documents didn't want the TM.30 but the lady next to her asked the person she was checking for a copy of the TM.30 and sent him away as he didn't have it.

TM.7, STM.2 and acknowledgement of fines. Copy of your bio page and a copy of your entry stamp, a recent picture too for the TM.7, you may or may not be asked for a copy of your TM.30 so take it just incase along with 1900 baht.

I suggest either going for 8.30am and walking through and going upstairs or booking an appointment.
