I had the same problem.

Had my renewal rejected 18th Oct. Got a 60 day Covid ext till 16th Dec. On 19th Oct put the balance back to 420k.

Had to season for 60 days, til 19th Dec, so I would have been on overstay for 3 days @ B500 per day and an Overstay Stamp in PP.

Went to CW yesterday and got a 60 day family visit extension valid til 14th Feb 2022. Wifey not happy as it took most of the day up.

Going back Feb next year for 12 month extension.

They DO check Bank Book and the deposits thoroughly at CW .

only time I flew KLM from MCR to BKK I ended up going via Chengdu . Took 26 hrs.

Did get 600 euros compo though.😀

First and only time I flew to BKK with KLM it took 36 Hours and included an excursion via Chengdu/ China, due to issues with the aircraft on the Manchester to Amsterdam leg.. My Bag was missing on arrival at Swampy as well, got it the following day.

Try K Bank, take your wife with you. Blue Housebook if she owns house, or rental agreement, your passport her ID and some cash as deposit. I did this with my GF , now wife, on a 30 day tourist visa. Just keep trying different Banks if you dont succeed first time around. Good Luck.
