I applied for DTV from the embassy in KotaBharu Malaysia and it has not been approved since January 12. I have been calling the embassy for the last 3 days and they give me the same answer every day "It will be approved today" Now I want to go back to Thailand. Has this happened to anyone before?
I will need to apply for DTV digital nomad soon, I should apply from Malaysia. Does anyone know which one is the easiest and fastest consulate for obtaining a visa? KL or Penang? Any info about Cambodia?
Changes to Thai Consulates in Cambodia and Malaysia
The thai consulate in Phnom Penh and the THREE thai consulates in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Kota Bharu) will go to eVisa online system effect in Oct.
There is no announcement date yet, but they did put out these notices
Be advised.. If you're going to those consulates to apply for visas do it BEFORE they switch over to the eVisa online application system because that's when they'll stop walk up applications.
I have tried to search in the group, yet I couldn't find the answer.
Do we have to book appointments for the Thai Embassies in Penang and/or Kota Bharu? If yes, can anyone share the links for both embassies. If no, then I take it they still accept walkins, until now. Most appreciated. Thanks
