I'm reaching out because I'm growing weary of the constant cycle of 30- and 90-day visas. I'm seeking advice on long-term residency options. I'm fortunate to have sufficient financial resources and a retirement account.
I'm hoping to connect with fellow expats who have successfully navigated the process of obtaining a one-year visa or residency permit. Any insights, tips, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Wishing you all a joyous holiday season filled with peace, love, and prosperity.
My 1 year on non-O visa is coming up in January.. Every month I got in the 65,000฿ (so I can withdraw the 800,000 after a year). Monthly it was in on the same day or next, one time it was 4 days off. And a couple of times it was in pieces (the 65,000 was divided up - like 30,000, 10,000 and 25,000 all coming in at once) because otherwise Wise wouldn't get it in time. Hoping this might work out somehow, or am I screwed up on this technicality... maybe dependent on the agent?

I have decided to move to Pattaya, looking for Pros and Cons!
To get a long term Residency, I am willing to invest the required amount, need to know a cost effective Visa. How are the Medical facilities in Pattaya vs Bangkok?
How good/cost effective are the Medical/Health Insurance Providers?
I am informed that as an Expatriate I cannot buy a villa but can buy a Condo! Is that correct?
On the basis of investing in a Condo, can I get long term Residency?
I know that I must contact Thai Embassy in UK for official clarification but just wondered how others interpret the situation below :
We are Married UK couple who have been planning to move to Thailand for the last 6 months.
Male 45, Female 51 both UK passport holders.
We have sold our house and many many possessions and was originally planning to move July.
Original plan was for F to apply for Non O-A multi entry and M to apply Non O based on trailing spouse.
Having logged on to register for E-Visa accounts today and checked requirements on Embassy website there has been an update on 4th April and the option on a Non O for a spouse that does not qualify on there own (age based) has been removed......
HOWEVER....The Non O 90 day information still has an over 50 years of age requirement..... But the Non O-A does not stipulate any age requirements
Financial commitments can be met individually for both parties, as can all other conditiions and I understand that Thai Elite / Privilege is an option but I'd rather not have to apply for Thai Privilege Visa and waste the cash if not required.
