Has anyone done a 90-day report with the DTV Visa in Bangkok?

If so:

- What's the process like?

- Where's the best place to do it?

- What documents should I bring?

- Do I need to do it in person or can I pay somebody else?

Thank you!

(Not sure if allowed here)

Seeking advice for something a bit urgent. My wife will have her medical check at Bumrungrad in order to get the CR1 visa (marriage) to go to America. For this she needs all vaccinations. She has no record of these. Bumrungrad can do the whole process but if we get the vaccines there it will be around 30k total for the health check + vaccines

I’ve been recommended by another expat to first go to a government hospital to get an antibody test to see what vaccines are already in my wife’s system (she lost her records). Then we can see what she needs and have it done cheaper outside of Bumrungrad

I’m wondering if anyone else has done this process for their spouse and if you have any advice. Just looking for the most cost effective way.

The medical exam itself can only be done at two hospitals and this was confirmed by the embassy

Thank you

Anyone get a DTV with a medical appointment? A cosmetic procedure I was interested in, is $12,000 in the U.S.. $2500 in BKk. At Bumrungrad. Is Thailand offering DTV visas for single medical treatments? E-visa website in the US a little unclear on the issue.

Thanks

Anyone knows any details on how and more importantly where to apply for the new one year medical visa

The conditions etc are all clear, but I cannot find out where to actually apply. Send the thai embassy in Haag a main, but they were not very helpful. Just reffered me to a website that dosnt list the visa yet.

Do I need to apply directly with immigration?

Hi everyone. A few weeks ago, we had a medical emergency with our son, Emerson. He contracted dengue and had dangerously low platelet counts as a result. As his platelet counts continued to drop, we were unable to find a matching blood type in Myanmar, where we live (as B- blood is very rare in Asians). We had to fly out of Myanmar urgently and felt like we raced the clock to get to Bumrungrad, all the while his platelet counts dropping. It's a terrifying situation no parent wants to ever find themselves in, and it felt surreal.

In the midst of it all, we were connected to this community group and a few other blood donor Facebook groups, and we were/are amazed at the support and response we found. We just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who responded either in compassion, information, or actual blood donation. We saw how the community of RH- people rose up to literally offer of themselves. This was a gift from God and we are so very grateful for your time, your efforts, your willingness and yourselves (blood)! Thank you!

We received wonderful care at the hospital and Emerson has made a full recovery and is doing beautifully. We see the importance of donating life-saving blood to one another.

Thanks for being part of our son's story of recovery. God bless each one of you! Life is such a gift.

With gratitude,

Brenden and Becca Miller
