Hi all, I'm planning to soon go for my first non o marriage extension at Jomtien immigration. It seems a complex process with a lot of documents.
Think I've got everything but wondering about house requirements, We have a copy of tabian baan for my wife, she is registered at the family home in another province. This seems the requirement listed on official sites.
Seen someone say they will need a copy of the house book for where we live too? (contact landlord?) another post i have seen saying they needed copies of rental agreement and landlords ID signed by landlord?
Anyway any advice about this appreciated. If anyone has done this extension recently and has tips or info please let me know thanks.
Apologies for my dimness... but... Having got a DTV, is there anything else one has to do when entering or staying in Thailand? (I mean in order to secure one's right to enter & stay in the country.). I got an email with a single page document entitled "THAI E-VISA" attached... (The document has a QR code on it.) I have printed that out and could of course show the electronic version on my phone...
Anything else? Thank you for any help/ instructions you can give me on this....
Hi folks , I'm thinking of applying for a soft dtv next year , my question is as this is a 5 year visa , if I move provinces is it just a matter of registering my new address or is it more complicated than that ? Would it affect my visa negatively?
So I recently returned from Thailand after saying a couple of months at a friends. I had no idea about the TM30 at the time and only been reading up on it now.
I know one wouldn't have been filed for me for my 2 month stay. And I will plan to return in a few months, can this cause any issues for me? Or just a genuine mistake.
Good Afternoon, Its my first time doing a visa extension here in Bangkok and I just wanted to clarify some information. Thanks in advance.
1. My girlfriend and I arrived on a 60 Day tourist exemption and we are looking to get an additional 30 Day Extension. Can we get this process completed at (IT Square Lak Si?)
2. When we apply for the 30 Day Visa Extension. Does the extension start the day we applied, or at the end of our 60 Day exemption?
3. Our host said they filed our TM30 online however, they where not able to pull the information for me. Does the immigration office have a way to pull up TM30 Information that has been filed online?
That's about it. I've found a lot of contradicting information online so figured I could just ask this group. Thanks Again.
Is it a 90 visa for a USA 🇺🇸 citizen upon my arrival date and what is the easiest way to extend my visa and where to do so 🤔 your assistance is appreciated ✌️
I’ve rented a condo in Thailand. Tomorrow, I’ll be flying to Thailand and moving into my new home. I have a DTV visa, and this will be my first entry into the country with it.
1) When should I go to immigration for the TM30?
2) If I need to do it immediately, will spending my first night at a hotel mean I won’t have to file the TM30 for the next 90 days?
3) For the first TM30 application, can I go to the immigration office, then do the renewals online?
Apologies, guys. I’m a bit new to all of this. Hope this thread helps others too.
I’m returning to Chiang Mai on Friday at 18.00 with Thai wife after 2 week vacation in Vietnam.
(Yes, I know, I picked a good time)!
This is the first time I’ve been out of Thailand since before Covid,
Going straight back to her house. I’ve been registered there for years. I know I have to do a new TM30, but, she will not file online (doesn’t like computers).
My question…will we be fined or have any aggravation on Monday morning when we go to immigration to reregister, as, obviously, they’ll be closed when we arrive and through the weekend.
