I am married to a Thai person and we stay about 6 months in Thailand and the rest of the time in my country of residence. We normally break up these stays to periods of 2 to 3 months at a time. So we do quite a bit of traveling.

My question: is there any visa that I should apply for or should I just enter on a tourist visa?

Hi, I have already stayed 60 days in Thailand using visa exemptions, and I extended another 30 days in Phuket. Now I have 15 days left. If I want to stay in Thailand for 2 more months:

📌Option 1: Can I do a visa run by land via Laos or Myanmar? Is that correct?

📌Option 2: Can I just fly to Singapore or Malaysia for 3-4 days, return to Thailand, and get another 60 days?

I am coming to Thailand in December for the first time. Do I only need a passport? What about visas? I am 57 years old and I do not know how long I’m going to stay. I will be meeting a friend that I met on the Internet she is 54 and we have been talking for about two years. A long time I’m just trying to figure out this whole thing.

First, I need to figure out the visa thing. And of course, the passport about how long these processes last and what I am needing to take care of to be legal.

I’m staying in Thailand with my girlfriend who is a teacher here she is on a work visa. We have been here 4 months now and I was wondering if anyone knew any types of visas I could get to be able to stay till March next year with her untill her contract finishes as I am currently only using tourist visas and info online isn’t very clear. I arrive Thailand 4th February staying until 23march I am from UK I know I can stay for 30 days without a visa but after that do I need to do a visa run eg Cambodia or can I get extension in Pattaya without leaving Thailand?

Currently in thailand on 30 day free planning on a land crossing to Laos but re entering by air will I get another 30 days by that way of travel thanks

Hello need advice please.

Coming to 🇹🇭 in November. UK passport holder. Have 8 weeks, want to to do 2 in Laos.

I have two options, which would you advise?

Come to 🇹🇭 on 30 day visa exempt, before 30 days is up travel to Laos by air, so have proof of onward travel. Stay in Laos for 2 weeks, travel back to 🇹🇭 via land and re-enter on another 30 day visa exempt.

Or

Get 60 day tourist visa into 🇹🇭, stay for 6 weeks, leave for Laos assume via ✈ as I would still need proof of onward journey. Then re- enter 🇹🇭 via land on visa exempt and have last couple of days in BKK before flying home.

Are both options feasible and legal with the different visas?

Hey guy, can anyone confirm the requirements for a marriage visa from Phuket's immigration office. Most of all I need to know 1) if money needs to be transfered from abroad, 2) how long before the application they needs to be in the bank account and 3) how many days before expiring of my current visa should I apply for a marriage one?
