I'm on O visa now 800k route last 2 years. Last year sent 66k month but after extended I took 800k out instead leave 3 months. Thinking let visa expire. Then apply new O visa on 65k route. New application need be 800k first or is 12 months 65k route accepted? Reason for let expire is I'm leaving Thailand for 3 months and renewal date later in year suits me better. Thanks

Question on changing to the DTV from another Thai visa.

My current Thai visa will expire in March, and I would like to renew my passport before applying for the DTV, as my passport is also due to expire next year.

While having a new passport delivered here to Thailand in February, can I then leave using my old passport in March, and then apply for the DTV for my new passport right as the old visa expires?

Or, would I need to "cancel" my old visa in the system, regardless of whether I would be applying for the DTV and later re-entering on the new passport?

Hey everyone,

Does the DTV 5 year timer start from the date of issue or date of first entry?

I have a non-immigrant B visa. My visa runs out on the 1. December later this year.

That visa is connected to my work permit.

The work permit expires in February.

I will stop work, but I am not planning on going home before late April.

I will return in September and is planning on getting a work permit again.

Is it allowed for me to stay on my current visa until April or do I need to do something?

The flight I need out of Thailand decreases in price by 10K (baht) 1 day after my 180 days is up. If I exit 1 day after my DTV visa stamp am I likely to lose the visa? I don't mind paying the 500b fee, though don't want my visa cancelled at Suwannabpoom. Anyone have similar experience to this? Thank

I just did my first 90day report, but realize now that because I did it 8 days before 90days, now I am supposed to do it again on April 15th, while my DTV stamp expires April 23rd.

So it seems it would have been better to do it exactly at 90 days to stay the maximum days while only 90 day reporting 1 time.

Online reporting was rejected so I went in person. I am not sure if I will be accepted in the future.

Hi all,

I have a work permit valid until March 12 which I won’t renew and a Non-B visa valid until April 14.

My question is: when do I need to leave the country?

I would like to stay until April.

Good day everyone! I wonder if anyone can perhaps shed some light on the following please? My Visa and Work Permit will expire on 25 Feb 2025, and I'm not sure whether I will get a new contract. If I don't, I have to leave no later than the 25th, but I understand that there is a procedure through which I can get a 7-day grace period, as my preferred flight is the Monday 3rd March. Is this accurate and what would the procedure be? Is it something one can just take for granted, that it will be approved, since I would like to book my outward bound ticket as soon as possible? Thanks in advance!
