For the information of people in Bangkok my wife took my passport and completed TM47 to CW today.
Points that may be noteworthy.
1) This was my first 90 day report submission since receiving a marriage extension in July and as expected an in person submission was required for the first report. I cheekily tried submitting online 4 times and was rejected 4 times!
2) I made an appointment about 30 days ago for 2pm today and she was called to the window at 2.02pm and done by 2.05pm
3) Copy of TM30 was required but copies of entry stamp, visa, stay extension stamps and passport photo page were not required and were handed back by the IO.
Hi, which immigration office do I attend in Chaing Mai to extend my 60 day visa? Does it matter I arrived in Bangkok? Can I just turn up and extend it? Thanks in advance. 🙂
Hi - we have been travelling through Chanthaburi and Rayong and will head back towards Pattaya then Bangkok - we arrived on the 30 day visa exemption and will be looking to extend. I saw on one of the posts below that the Immigration office will want to see the TM30 - we have been using a mix of hotels and AirBNB villas / apartments etc so not entirely sure how to address the TM30 requirement in this instance from AirBNB - I'm travelling on an Australian passport and my wife on a Lao passport (if that is relevant) - does it make any difference if we extend in Rayong or Pattaya etc
I just got my retirement visa and i kniw every 90 days must check in with immigrations. Question is if say after 73 days i was to leave the country and later return does my new time remain at 90 days from my re entry date
So i need not worry about the 73 days plus time i was out of the country.
Extending single entry Tourist visa in Chiang Mai >>>
Hi all, I did recently post in regards to exact requirements to extend TR visa and the only thing I want to double check are requirement for the TM30.
Can anyone confirm for me if immigration officers accept a printed copy of a current and up to date TM30 or do they really require their own paper slip copy?
Hello, I have a quick confirmation question in regards to the tm30
if you are flying into Thailand, but will be returning to your home address (where your old tm30 was registered to) am I correct in thinking that you don't need to apply for a new tm30?
I will arrive back tomorrow afternoon and I want to see if I need to pop over to immigration on Friday/if my landlord needs to register me again.
Hello everyone! I've done a visa extension in Phuket before, and now I will have the option to do so in Chiang Mai or in Phuket this time. Which has a better office? Phuket was very crowded and chaotic and took half a day, is Chiang Mai any better? I know it's a busy time of year, would be end of April. I have a toddler so that adds to the chaos when we have to sit in a crowded room and wait for a long time. Thank you!
