Have to extend or do a border run soon, but would rather do an extension so my questions are to those who extended recently:
* Which office did you go to?
* What are all the documents needed?
The 1900 baht is a lot cheaper than the cost of doing a border run/flying in and out. I don't want to waste a day going to the immigration office and miss a piece of paperwork. I'm sure this is asked a lot but haven't found a concrete answer yet about extending, many people just suggesting a border run. Thank you.
Okay after multiple tries to get the DTV extension of stay criteria paperwork from the main immigration at Chaengwattana Section J over about a month going there every week to the section that does Tourist Visa & DTV extensions, I finally got it today.
The first two pages are the Thai language and the last two are the english
Hello everybody I'm a Cuban citizen I need to if when my 2 free months finished I can go away and enter and get 2 more months and later extend my visa 1 month more
I am going to do my 30 day extension tomorrow as its day 60, i have all the information that it says i need but there is no mention of a TM30 form and i dont have one. I'm seeing people mention this form! Do i need it as it doesn't say i do online!
Has any one had this experience? I have heard on this "Buzzin Pattaya" channels video at the 17:00 marker a visa agent describing people having to prove their paperwork again with the DTV ?
Went to get out 60 day visa exemption extended today for 30 days and it could not have been easier.
Went to Krabi Immigration office at 9am and it was getting busy already. We took with us photocopies of our passport and the visa stamp on our passport. We also took along a recent passport photo and 1900 bhats in cash.
The lovely lady there asssited us and we were then seated until we were call to the desk.
Easy peasy and it took us 30 minutes but we could see it could get busier as the day went on - by the way we are from the UK🙏🇹🇭
Hello! I've been reading past posts but I'm still unsure about the requirements/process for the 30 day extension. We (myself, husband, and baby) are US citizens and want to extend our current 60 day entry. We are in Bangkok area. Do we have to wait until a week before to apply? How do we show exit tickets if we don't know if we will be approved yet? What is the fee for the 3 of us? Do we all need passport photos even though we would all be going in person with our passports? Thanks for any help!
If you have the DTV visa for Muay Thai, which is considered “soft power”. After 1 year, so I have to apply for another soft power in order to keep my visa? Thanks in advance
I’m traveling to Thailand on a Non-O. I intend to get a 1-year extension based on marriage, and do plan on renewing every year. I’m using the seasoned money method (400K baht in Thai bank account for 2-3 months).
1. Do I need to prove that the funds came from an overseas source?
2. Is there a minimum balance required in my Thai bank account throughout the year? As in, what if I temporarily go below 400k baht at some point during the year, so long as it isn’t within the 3 months before renewal; is this a problem?
Hi :) I have a Non-Immigrant O visa (marriage 90 days), I know I can apply for a 1-year visa after 45 days. does anyone know the minimum, e.g. is 15 days still enough or does it have to be at least 30 days? Thx for your help
