Quick question for a friend of mine the school made him the non b visa for teaching but never made a work permit as far as I know it's not an extension of stay but I could be wrong now he decided to leave school and school said they will cancel his visa so he wanna know if that is possible it's first 90 day visa given 17 January until April 16 end of employment 31 January dutch passport
I will ask you for some information, please. Is it possible to get a work permit for a teacher based on a Non-O visa?
If possible, can the Non-O visa be extended based on that work permit? From the information I've been able to find, it mostly mentions the Non-B visa, so does anyone have a different experience? Are the same documents required for an extension as with a Non-B visa?
If anyone has any experience, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Hi everyone .i have question regarding visa status .
Can a person change his ED visa to Non B here in Thailand .(pakistani nationality ).As one of my friend is currently on ED visa here and he got an offer for a teaching job so he wanna change his visa status.
Hello guys, can I convert my non o visa to non b visa without leaving Thailand? My visa expires in March and I’m currently working as a teacher. Any advice would help. Thanks
Hi folks - another (probably stupid) question regarding my Non-immigrant B Visa for my teaching post that is due to start August.
For intended date of arrival, I have put when my flight (should hopefully!) land in Thailand, but not sure what to put for date of departure as I don't plan on departing Thailand until at least the end of my 2 year contract (aside from leaving to visit home/travel etc but not sure when that would happen yet).
Currently, I've put down the last day of term in 2 years time (guesstimating the date) as my departure date which means my intended length of stay in Thailand is 697 days. Is this something that they are likely to pick up on when I submit my application as it is such a long time?
I currently have a non immigrant B visa as a teacher which expires on the 2nd of may. I posses a work permit.I renew my contract with the same school in Chiang Mai for the upcoming year. Do I need to leave Thailand and apply for a new non immigrant b visa in Vientiane ? Or could I do it in Chiang Mai? This is the first time doing it and I'm a little bit confuse.
Hello TVA family, regarding the 1 year extension of stay for non b based on teaching. Other than the papers the school gives you do you need anything else? I heard it's the same price as all extensions. 1900 baht?
Hi, we have a new teacher starting next month and he’s coming from China (via Hong Kong) on a British passport. My school are willing to support his application for a Non Imm B single paperwork wise (if this is the correct route) Does anyone have any information on the best way to go about this? Consulate in China, Hong Kong, paperwork required, alternative options? Any advice/support would be greatly appreciated. 🙏 Jason McGhee (I’ve requested to add him here) 👍
