How can I get a Performer’s / actors “O” type visa?
Long story short.
I am a successful touring DJ , singer, and music producer (played major festivals with Snoop Dogg, SEVENTEEN, etc) actress (commercials only) , and content creator.
I am not SAG-AFRA. But I’ve booked major TV commercials.
I know in Japan for example, there’s companies like GxPlus , Halo Live, etc who sponsor foreign entertainers and YouTubers for the explicit purpose of promoting Japan soft power and allowing them to work with Japanese brands etc.
I’m guessing there are similar companies here, as I have seen foreigners in ads, commercials, and obviously DJing etc.
I have a large Asian and western following with many media articles about me to prove this for immigration sake (I know many countries ask for media coverage)
Anyways does this sound plausible?
I don’t care about the actual earning potential in baht because I still earn passively from my US / Canadian work.
Hi everyone, i have my own company here and recently i got non b and then work permit for 6 month only . Is it normal . Usually it is 3 months then can extend to one year isn’t it . Why 6 month ? Can anyone explain this
Hello, I applied for a non b visa which I got and will be over on the 25th December, in the meantime I got my work permit which has a 1 year validity. What is the next step? Should I go to immigration on the 25th December for any procedure or is it done, I can just stay normally? Is there anything else I should do? Thanks in advance for your help.
I am fairly new to this group and I am seeking advice.
I work for a multinational company that has offices in Bangkok I have asked my company if I can relocate to Thailand. I requested this in December last year and they have been dragging their feet.
They have just informed me that they are happy to employ me in Thailand if I go through the process of getting my marriage visa and applying for a work permit myself.
I am married to a Thai national and I am in the process of buying a house. I have a bank account and my plan has always been to move to Thailand in November this year.
My manager has asked me to check if there is another way of them getting me to Thailand they say that their quota is full.
My question is this, I know that I have to apply for the 90 day visa which I can exchange to the 1 year ‘ marriage visa’ after 2 months but can I apply for the work permit only after the extension is granted?
I.e will I have to be unemployed for 2 months whilst waiting for my extension
I need recommendations please for an agent who can take over a NON IMM B application from tourist visa and then work permit. Bangkok based please and district is Nonthaburi for processing.
