You go to the Consulate not the Embassy, any Tuk Tuk knows where to take you

To get a visa, anywhere, you have to go to the consulate. When there's no consulate, there's a consular desk at the embassy. Embassies are for country to country affairs, while consulars are for country to individuals.
It's the consular section of the embassy. The building in that screenshot now listed as "Thailand Embassy" is where you go. Google Maps used have another building up near Patuxai (different part of the city) listed as the embassy, (and it is the embassy, but not where they do visas) but it's changed now and you can safely go to the building listed as "Thailand Embassy" on Google Maps. Get the form either from outside or inside the building on the left and then queue through the little gate there on the right. You aren't going to miss it if you go to that address.
yes it seems to be leading me to the embassy when I look online. I have heard you go a small building at the front so maybe that's the consulate and it's just a side building.

I am also going there this week. Google maps does mention this address as "embassy" but I suppose the consular section is next to the embassy?
